Water Efficiency (Calculations)

Part G of the Building Regulations now requires that all new and converted homes meet new water efficiency targets.

Building Control require that a Water Efficiency Calculation is provided to show a maximum water usage figure of 125 litres per person per day. This calculation should be completed and submitted at both the design and as built stages.

The Code For Sustainable Homes sets even lower water usage targets with code levels 1 and 2 having an allowable 120 litres per person per day, levels 3 and 4 105 litres and levels 5 and 6 only allowing 80 litres per person per day.
